Thulium
A soft, silvery lanthanide metal that is fairly stable in dry air. It is the rarest "rare earth" apart from Pm and has almost no applications.

So far we have failed to come up with any thrilling objects to demonstrate applications for thulium. If you know of anything that might be suitable we would love to hear from you. So in the meantime the best we can provide are some lumps of the silvery grey metal which have that typical boring rare earth appearance. Thulium is fairly resistant to oxidation but we have ampouled the sample under argon just to play safe.
