I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that the tines on this brush are actually made of copper, even though the copper-colored edge and ring are just plastic. Why anyone would want to pay extra for a brush with copper tines I don't know, the health benefits listed on the box are obviously some kind of joke designed to amuse shoppers on an otherwise dull day.
